I have to say, this is a tough one. It reminds me of the first time I met my now-wife’s in-laws. For some background, I’m what you call a “beer drinker”. Meaning the only thing I know about Pinot-Noir is that it is dark red, and if I drink too much of hit, I get the worst headache the following morning. The first time I saw an aerator, I literally thought it was a gag gift.
So. My wife’s in-laws are wine connoisseurs. They know wine like I know hop strains. I brewed all the beer for my own wedding if that is any indication. On the first day, they asked if I wanted a Pinot or a Chardonnay, and I just said, “Yes”. To be fair, I think they initially thought I had a drinking problem with such an answer. Maybe Zach had a bad day at work?
Anyways. I go through that explanation to color my answer to this question. I would assume the sommelier canine would know the difference between a Chiraz and Chianti, and I’m imagining that the competition would be in their respective field of expertise.
Now. I would have that “Sherbark Holmes” number. I love puzzles. I have a number of solved level 10 puzzles throughout my home. I once got through an escape room by myself on a bet. I read more true crime books than most people should. On top of that, I’m basically going up against an animal with no thumbs or ability to use a computer for research. If our competition is to find a killer before the other person does, I’d distract him with bacon and run.
