1. So I had to think long and hard about this one. For real, I got up and took my dogs for a walk. During that time, I thought about what I do currently. I sit at a desk, and in between the times I look at spreadsheets all
day, trying to divine the statistical anomalies surrounding Email Deliverability, I create funny gifs and ways to mildly annoy my compatriots by subtly messing with their Google Sheets, or making bots that whenever they mention certain words (these days, it is "egregious"), a funny message pops up in their Slack Channel.
Now I know what you're thinking, "That is funny, why would you choose Game Of Thrones?" I'll tell you, confused reader. Because I was born in the wrong time. I wasn't built for office work. I was built to explore new places, rough the wilds and tundras. I accidentally fell into this job. My jobs before this were almost always outside, or involving heavy labor. I just happened to have this skillset as well.
If I fell into a world where there be dragons, magic, all sorts of weird stuff to work with and explore, I'd be pretty damn happy.
Yeah, I'd probably die, but it would likely be a pretty metal death, at the end of someone's pike, a dragon eating my head off, starvation, not something so banal as heart disease from eating processed food. As one of the greatest living comedians, Bill Burr, once said, "Realize that sleeping on a futon when you're 30 is not the worst thing. You know what's worse, sleeping in a king bed next to a wife you're not really in love with but for some reason you married,
and you got a couple kids, and you got a job you hate. You'll be laying there, fantasizing about sleeping on a futon. There's no risk when you go after a dream. There's a tremendous amount to risk to playing it safe."
Now "sleeping on a futon" isn't the same as "fighting a white walker", but hell, it would be more exciting.
I know this is a departure from my more satirical posts, but this one made me think more than I should.

You killed me with this one, Zach. You won't be hearing from me in a while as I now feel a strong call to adventure! - Chris
2. More sword. Less screens. Unseating a rival > than unjamming a printer.
3. This is a really tough one, I like both shows. A point for the Office is who wouldn't want Michael Scott for a boss?! Sure he is an idiot but he is actually a good guy. Overall, I had to go with GoT because the Office world would be too close to normal life. I would like to take my stab (pun intended) at sitting in the iron throne in a world with dragons and ice zombies.

4. Look, there is a good chance that in a GoT world I would be killed quickly, or be one of the poor people living in the muck at King's Landing or something, but I do live in the world of The Office right now, and I could really use a change.
