1. So I love Youtube. Especially a channel by the name of "Tier Zoo". This channel breaks down different animals in the real world as if they were in a video game. Oddly enough, they've never done an episode about Wombats.
Marsupials, sure, but not the Wombat specifically.
Still, no matter. They have done an episode on Sloths. They have a ranking of F- (https://tier-zoo.fandom.com/wiki/Sloth). So even a super version of a Sloth would be a terrible choice, barely breaking Tier C I would assume. They can only really hang, almost zero speed. If anything, I would imagine their super power would be the ability to move backward in time maybe?
However, having a Wombat's abilities? I'd imagine their natural running speed of 25 miles an hour would be amplified. Additionally, I'd have my super pouch of storing, being able to temporarily shield people from harm by hiding them in my protective pouch. My Arch-Nemesis would be Harvey, a Honey-Badger who was subjected to terrible experiments, creating a Badger that is even worse than a normal Honey Badger. We'd cross paths in the desert one day, I don't know
why. But at that exact moment, we would know our fates would be forever intertwined. A never-ending struggle between Mammalian Marvels. Move over Batman, go back to Krypton Superman, The Masked Marsupial is here.

3. The wombat seems like it would have useful powers, since it's like the fierce badger and comes from Tasmania. Which could have really cool super hero names. That Tasmanian devil wombat extraordinaire. While the sloth is a sloth. The sloth's super power is merely going the speed of a normal animal. A feat for the common everyday sloth.

4. Wombats are marsupials, which means they have that super handy built-in pouch for gadgets and/or their young.

5. Sloths move so slow that they can mistake their own arms as branches and fall out of trees. I'm not a big fan of falling out of trees.
