Because they know what I really want from my Wishlist. Jokes aside, my bff got me a literal box of nothing once. It was labeled "Here's your gift: nothing". You can't get that from amazon.
My friends are way cooler than I am so they'd pick out better things than I would. Also, I masquerade as an adult now so when I want something, I just buy it for myself instead of putting it on a wish list. INSTANT GRATIFICATION, baby.
